Our Curriculum

Our learning enrichment program is in line with ‘flight’ Alberta’s early learning and care frame work with Montessori inspired components. The children are seen as mighty learners and a global citizens capable of learning through experiences. We believe in offering opportunities to encourage the love of learning and curiosity for new experiences while providing a focus on independence and social emotional learning

Flight

  • When educators notice children’s interest in exploring nature, people, places, and objects as well as print, stories, numbers, shapes, and patterns, and when they name the connections between these experiences and the holistic goals and children’s dispositions to learn, they are co-constructing early learning with young children and making this visible to others.

In developing the framework, the professional field provided inspiration. Close working relationships with early childhood educators in the community helped bring theory and practice together and to remind the developers of the complex and multifaceted nature of the work that early childhood educators do every day with children and their families
The learning enrichment program is offered to children between the ages of 0 years and 19 months , At 19 months the programming changes to full Montessori pedagogy.
